Hello! My name is Sara Marie Courtney. Welcome to Sara Marie Music! I am so happy you are here. 

After my 25+ years of teaching, I have realized that in everything we do in life, no matter how big or small, we should find joy. We are all on a life journey of self-discovery and our journey never ends. Music is one very tangible way to discover who you are, see your true potential, find joy in it and share your love of music with the world fearlessly. Using your voice or playing an instrument can bring about confidence, pride, self-love, and self-discovery. It is truly a life-long art of the mind, body, heart and soul.

 

As your music teacher, my goals are to:

• Share with you my passion and love for music in a meaningful way 

• Encourage you to see your full potential and passion for music 

• Teach you relaxed, simple, and effective techniques in voice or piano that will allow you to reach your greatest potential

• Foster a positive, encouraging and loving no-stress environment designed to celebrate where you are and help you make a plan for how you want to grow.

• Use a holistic approach to help you find the connection between your mind, heart, soul and body and the music within you 

• Empower you to find your musical voice, find your joy through music, and share it with the world fearlessly

Above all, music is something we should love and enjoy doing! That is what it is all about.
